Meet Melinda McWhorter

Owner & Licensed Aesthetician

I started HAVEN Skincare & Aesthetics in 2024 in Boerne, TX with the hope of offering high-quality skincare in a space where you can truly relax and feel free to be yourself. I wanted good science without the sterile, stuffy environment. A place where results matter, but comfort does too.

I believe in clinically proven skincare services and products that are tailored to each client’s individual goals and their skin’s specific needs. No one-size-fits-all treatments here — your skin is unique, and your care should be too.

Before becoming an aesthetician, I spent over 10 years working in dermatology as a certified medical assistant alongside some of the area’s best providers. I learned everything from acne and cosmetic treatments to medical skin conditions. After a few years away, I felt called back to skincare and returned to school in 2021, graduating with honors and blending my medical background with hands-on aesthetic care.

At HAVEN, my goal is to help people feel confident in their skin while enjoying an experience that feels more like spending time with a trusted friend than visiting a clinic. When I’m not with clients, I’m usually with my husband, Chris, and our three kids - William, Alyssa, both in their twenties, and our youngest, Benjamin, who keeps us busy with sports and after-school activities.

I love our Boerne community, try to get to the ocean whenever I can, enjoy a good glass of wine, and laugh as much as possible with friends old and new. I can’t wait to welcome you into HAVEN.
